Moose Jaw pitcher Dustin Caplette-Tarrant mowed down BC Wednesday at the Baseball Canada Cup in Quebec.

 

They're recent success has led to a tougher schedule but Team Saskatchewan is up to the task of proving why they are ranked fourth at the Baseball Canada Cup in Quebec.

Team Saskatchewan is an extremely tough pool, which includes powerhouse's Ontario, Quebec, and BC

Four Moose Jaw ball players are with Team Sask. and are all expected to play key roles.  Cardinals Jon Cotter, Dustin Caplette-Tarrant and Terry McNabb who hails from Davidson.  Canuck Mark Ingram, who's from Imperial, is also on the team.

Caplette-Tarrant made his presence felt early in the tournament as he pitched into the 6th inning Wednesday in a 4-1 win over BC

"I think last night was one of Dustin's best performances all year," said Cardinals coach and Team Sask. Head Coach Roger Anholt. "When he did get behind he came through. In a couple, two or three critical situations he pitched his way out of it," added Anholt.

Saskatchewan has two games Thursday, in the morning they'll play Quebec and then battle Ontario in the evening.
