The Moose Jaw Public Library's Summer Reading Club officially launched on Saturday, June 15 with an afternoon of activities ready for everyone to enjoy.

Tables were set up ready for eventgoers to take part in everything from arts and crafts, facepainting and book giveaways to a magic show by Magic by Chris culminating in a showing of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes in the library's theatre.

The Summer Reading Club provides the framework for children and teens to discover and maintain and love for literature while also winning fun prizes along the way.

Participants can sign up for the club at the Moose Jaw Public Library and embark on a literary journey from June 15 until August 24.
