The Moose Jaw Warriors are in the Manitoba capital on Wednesday for a matchup with the league-leading Winnipeg ICE. On the season the Warriors have a record of 2-2-0-1 against the ICE and will be looking for their first win of the season at the Wayne Fleming Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CST on Wednesday and Country 100 is the place to find all the action. 

Continuing with the Warriors, playoffs packages are still on sale and the team wants to make sure you get yours. Two options are available and can be bought at the Moose Jaw Events Centre Box Office or at the Warriors Office. 

Moose Jaw's U13 A Carpet One Mavericks #1 fell just short of a berth in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League finals, as they lost 6-2 to the Parkland Fire on Tuesday at the Bert Hunt Arena. Maria Umana and Finley Faris scored for the Mavericks in the loss. The Carpet One Mavericks #2 will face the Fire in the championship series with dates and times to be determined. 

The Moose Jaw U15 A Warriors will be looking for community support on Saturday, as they look to tie their provincial series against the Saskatoon Comets. Puck drop is at 3:00 p.m. at the Bert Hunt Arena. 

Kim's Taekwondo brought back 20 medals from provincials over the weekend. 

Students from age six all the way to their mid-forties were competing in the tournament. 

Taekwondo Instructor Jenna Beaton loves seeing the relationships that students and parents build with each other. 

"While the competitors were fighting and sparring, students and parents were cheering no matter what," Beaton remarked. "The school is just like a big family."

Moose Jaw's Curling Centre was the place to be yesterday, as the National Wheelchair Curling Championships continued. Saskatchewan #2 fell in their first game 8-2 to Ontario but rebounded with an 8-2 win against Alberta last night. Saskatchewan #1 is 3-1 so far with a pair of wins against New Brunswick and Ontario. Round-robin play wraps up today with draws starting at 2.
